Welcome to my website. My name is Julia Radochia and this is my new, temporary home page. I'm just starting to build my own website, and am applying the basic HTML skills I've learned. It will take me a while to do. I just wanted to put up something for now to show that I am going to start using something other than my Mac Home Page for my professional website!
This website is for the films that I've made. I've written, directed and edited several short films that have screened at many films festivals, some winning awards. My husband, Jeremy Ward, and I have produced many of these films together. He has also contributed to my films in many other ways including camera work, lighting, sound (production and post) and music. So while these films are essentially my creations, he is my right hand man. And maybe at some point we'll be doing films of which he is the auteur. I've never put a mission statement together for my filmmaking. When I make films I think purely about entertaining people. I'm not looking to necessarily break ground, change the world or manipulate people's feelings. I just want to provide audiences with enjoyment.
